Mission
The CRC intends to lead the cancer research in the country by adopting a national mission and to be the national and international reference for cancer research in Iran. To do so, the CRC inclines to create an appropriate information infrastructure, train skilled manpowers and develop inter- and intradepartmental communications (based on national needs).With the help of God and cooperation of skilled experts and researchers, the CRC intends to deal with clinical cases of cancer according to the latest scientific achievements. Moreover, this center performs basic research in the fields of epidemiology, diagnosis, biology and cancer treatment as well as promotes scientific and practical knowledge of all members of this center to provide the best diagnostic and treatment services for cancer patients and to improve the quality of life of these patients both during and after treatment.Definitive treatment of cancer can be achieved through research in the field of identifying all causes of this disease and ultimately preventing people from affecting it as well as progress towards regional cancer control planning.
